Alkaline saline peptone water (ASPW) is used as a primary and secondary enrichment medium for the detection of Vibrio spp. in human and animal food products as well as environmental samples.
The typical composition meets food microbiology standard NF EN ISO 21872-1.

Available as dehydrated medium: 500g bottle

In compliance with regulatory requirements, a USDA permit (VS 16-3) is mandatory for shipments from Canada to the USA due to the inclusion of peptone, an animal byproduct.

The composition can be adjusted in order to obtain optimal performance.
