Reveal® 3-D for sesame offers results in just 5 minutes and can be used in virtually any environment to screen for sesame with environmental swabs, liquid products and clean-in-place rinses.

The Reveal 3-D line of food allergen tests kits is uniquely designed to guard against over-saturation and false negative results, with results displayed in three visual lines on the lateral flow test strip.

A control line assures the test is working properly, and two other lines outline non detectable, low, and high levels of sesame.

Reveal 3-D for sesame includes:

1 foil pouch, containing 10 Reveal 3-D for sesame devices
10 sachets containing 4 mL Type 8 Extraction Buffer
10 sample tubes and caps
10 individually packaged, sterile swabs with break-off tips

Assay Principles

The Reveal 3-D format is a single-step lateral flow immuno-chromatographic assay. The extract is wicked through a reagent zone, which contains antibodies specific for the target allergen conjugated to coloured particles. If allergen is present, it will be captured by the conjugated antibodies.

The allergen antibody-particle complex then is wicked onto a membrane which contains a zone of antibody specific for the target allergen. This zone captures the complex allowing the particles to concentrate and form a visible line. If no target allergen is present, no line will form.
