After cooling of the Baird Parker Agar with potassium tellurite (BK055HA) to 44-47 °C, it is possible to add sulfamethazine to limit invasion by Proteus. In this case, rehydrate the freeze-dried supplement (BS02808) with 5 mL of sterile distilled water and add 1 ml per vial of base media.
