MS® Mixed Cellulose Ester(MCE) membrane filter is composed of cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate. Because MCE membrane is biologically inert, it is one of the most widely used membranes in analytical and research applications.
Membranes are packaged sterile. Diameter of 47mm and porosity of .45um.
Offered individually wrapped (Microdisc 100 par pack) or as universal continuous feed (Microfilm 150 per pack).
Our universal microfilm continuous feed membranes are compatible with any membrane dispensors.

MCE Membrane Filter is characterized by a smoother and more uniform surface than pure nitrocellulose filter. Also, the color contrast provided by the filter surface facilitates particle detection and minimizes eye fatigue.
